SuperSize Me NOT
When the holiday time comes around, many
people think they are doomed in terms of their health and the food they consume. This
is a belief of which each one of us can take responsibility for
ending. Oh, but you LOVE to bake your cookies or favorite recipe from
your grandmother. Ok, but who is really benefiting from it in the
end? Certainly not your waist (or theirs), your cholesterol (or
theirs). Since I don't want to seem like a Scrooge, I want to
encourage you to think differently. Think healthily. Stop letting
your cravings drive you to poor health.
Picture this. Instead of sugar, use Agave
nectar. Instead of butter, use applesauce. Instead of baking, create
a personalized gift certificate to enjoy a walk and tea with you.
Why not take the time to think about ways your holiday gifts can
contribute to your friends and families health and happiness?
Feeding them sugar and fat laden products is going out of style.
Health is in. If you want to feel healthy, stay away from the sugar
and fat. Start focusing on your health. Why not pick up a health
oriented magazine and find ideas for enjoying a healthy holiday. The
next party you go to, skip the dessert area. Buffet food is often
where people catch the latest virus. Eat before you go to the party
and be present with the people not the junk food.
My 15 year old niece in New York had to
write a review of the movie SuperSize Me. She concluded that
McDonalds is not to blame for someone's poor eating habits. Rather,
it's the individual's choice. Take a stand this holiday season for
your health. I promise you, you will ultimately feel more powerful,
more joyous and definitely more healthy.
If you'd like a personal healthy holiday
lifestyle consultation with me where you will identify your limiting
beliefs and create the mindset for your healthy holidays, please

people who call starting Monday at 9 am Pacific Time.
Here's to Your Healthy and Happy Holiday
