We have a a plethora of incredible Feminine Power Partners including Marcia Weider. The feminine power cards are all ready to be shipped worldwide. I've got my team of buzz creators ready for action. We're creating videos, tele-gatherings and such a wonderful environment to cause a world wide shift.

… A shift to a world where women have stress-free lives because they are living their passions, making it a priority to take care of themselves, being role models to their children of loving, nurturing, co-creative, intelligent partners in their families and organizations. Women who lead with a focus of doing the right things for the environment, neighbors and family.

When a critical mass of women know who we are, the immense influence we have, and the wisdom and courage to live in alignment with this truth, our world will shift to a more compassionate, cleaner, safer, richer and joyous place to live. Our culture is at a turning point and so many are ready for a hand, a kind word, something to know they are valued and valuable.

Recently, a girlfriend of mine asked me if I have a challenge with asking for help. In general, my answer is no. When I know what want, I love asking for help. I realize this may seem unusual as many of us have been brought up to be self-sufficient and that it is a sign of weakness to ask for help. As a shy younger person, I used to be embarrassed about asking for help.  Through my own self-actualization, the embarrassment has disappeared. It is now evident to me that people feel valued, acknowledged and recognized when someone graciously and humbly asks for their help (especially when you ask men). Asking for help now occurs to me as the gift I look forward to giving.  Plus receiving help helps me to be more productive so I consistently reach out. I ask friends for referrals to people who can help me. For example, recently I asked a friend for a referral to a notary. Over the years, I've knocked on neighbor's doors and asked for sugar, lemons and garlic while in the middle of cooking something and the surprise ingredient comes up. If I'm moving, I have asked friends to help with the packing. The list is endless of the ways to ask for help. To get comfortable with the idea of asking for help, I believe in asking for help that someone would be delighted and qualified to provide. So just asking anyone for the most extravagant type of support may not be appropriate. Also, I recommend being very clear on what you need. Then the challenge is to recognize who would be the best at providing that type of help. When you do ask for help make sure you are open to hearing no. In other words, give them space and eliminate expectations. The point is that you are not trying to have them take responsibility for solving your problem, they are just one possible solution.

Here's where my quandary comes into play. I don't consider myself having a challenge asking for help, the issue I have is finding the person who can help effectively. Often times it is a matter of just asking someone to listen and let me talk it out so I can first clarify what I really need and then secondly who could help me or who would know someone who can help. In this world of instant gratification taking the time to stop to think and then to ask may feel like extra time, but I believe it will save you heaps of time in the long run.
